I maintain a broad practice of commercial disputes; of particular interest are energy disputes and construction and engineering disputes.

I have experience working with the LCIA, ICC, UNCITRAL, CRCICA and ICSID, utilised by clients across a range of industry sectors. I recently secured an award of circa £2m for a UK based engineering client. I have assisted a manufacturer of energy components to enforce an ICSID award against a Kuwaiti defendant, and I acted for a Dubai-based commodities trader in an ICC arbitration involving international sanctions law.

I am dual-qualified to practice in England & Wales and New York, and am studying part-time for a Masters in International Law. Having worked in Egypt and Dubai, I have a good understanding of business and culture in the MENA region and visit business contacts there regularly.

I am fluent in Urdu, Hindi and Gujarati and am working towards business proficiency in Arabic.

I love hiking, preferably somewhere that requires a passport and a plane journey. Closer to home I enjoy doing anything creative, from pottery to woodwork.
