I maintain a broad practice of commercial disputes; of particular interest are financial disputes and construction and engineering disputes.
My experience includes working with a range of arbitration institutions, including the LCIA, ICC, UNCITRAL, CRCICA and ICSID, and this is beneficial for clients involved in all manner of international disputes across a range of industry sectors.
I recently advised a client on the enforcement of an ICSID award against a local subsidiary of a Kuwaiti defendant, and I am also acting for a Dubai-based commodities trader in an ICC arbitration involving international sanctions law. Having recently completed a secondment in Dubai I am currently studying part-time for a Masters in International Law.
I am a member of the Young International Arbitration Group and Young International Council for Commercial Arbitration.
Fluent in Urdu, Hindi and Gujarati I am working towards business proficiency in Arabic.
