Employment Tribunal system – how will the changes affect you?
The Employment Tribunal system is at the heart of the Government's ongoing review of employment law. The Government's proposals aim not only to encourage the early resolution of workplace disputes but also to simplify the Employment Tribunal process.  Existing employment protections are also being diluted.

The forthcoming changes include a new early conciliation process; new Employment Tribunal fees and rules; changes to unfair dismissal compensation and new financial penalties.

This videocast highlights the key changes to Employment Tribunal litigation and how they may affect you. Further detail is provided in the accompanying briefing note, "Employment Tribunal litigation – understanding the changes".

If you would like to discuss how these changes may affect your approach to handling workplace disputes and Employment Tribunal litigation, please contact Richard Kenyon, Head of Employment and Pensions, or any of the other specialist employment solicitors featured in our videocast: Angharad Schell, Sinead Donnelly and Sophie Westmacott.
