The Regulations apply not only to the employment agencies that provide the workers themselves; they are also applicable to - and can create liability for - the hirers of temps and agency workers.

What is the extent of the equality regime created by the Regulations? To what extent do both agencies and the hirers of agency workers need to take steps to ensure compliance? Who might be liable if agency workers assert their rights under the Regulations?

Our seminar, presented by partner Peter Holt and the Recruitment Sector team from our Employment and Pensions Department, will answer these questions and address the many other commercial and practical issues arising from the Regulations. The seminar will take place on Monday 19 September and run from 8:30am until 10:30am. Click here to register.

We are also counting down to 1 October with a series of articles, by Neil Johnston, examining the practical implications of the Regulations (first published in UK Recruiter). Click here to read Parts I, II and III.
