Since October 2010, further provisions have come into force, including new positive action measures for recruitment and promotion and the public sector equality duty. The Equality Act 2010 (Specific Duties) Regulations 2011 also came into force on 10 September, which are designed to ensure that public bodies are transparent about their compliance with the equality duty.

We are holding seminars in both London and Manchester to bring you up to speed with the Equality Act and the implications for both private and public sector employers. We will provide an overview of the Equality Act and explore how it is working in practice. We will also use practical case studies, to highlight how to manage discrimination claims effectively under the Equality Act.
