European law firm Fieldfisher has hired former Loeb & Loeb partner Tom Guida, a senior US entertainment lawyer well-known for his expertise in digital content and media.
Tom has eighteen years' experience in digital and traditional media, entertainment and marketing, acting for US- and UK-based clients of all sizes from start-up to multinationals. Tom was most recently managing director of Mission Rights, the media rights offering from Mission Media. Prior to this he was a partner at Loeb & Loeb in New York, before joining Levine Plotkin & Menin, the noted entertainment boutique, also in New York.
Tom, who joins Fieldfisher as Of Counsel, focuses largely on cutting edge digital content transactions, as well as business and legal affairs work related to content development, finance, production and distribution for film, television and digital platforms and related ancillary rights. He is also known for structuring innovative joint ventures that take advantage of new digital platforms and business opportunities and regularly represents production companies in mergers and acquisitions and serves as outside general counsel for a number of clients.
