Fieldfisher welcomes the launch of The Ownership Dividend

Fieldfisher, leading adviser to the employee ownership sector, is delighted to welcome the launch of The Ownership Dividend, the report of The Ownership Effect Inquiry, an independent panel of UK business leaders and industry experts chaired by Baroness Sharon Bowles.

The Inquiry heard evidence from over 100 businesses. Fieldfisher partners Graeme Nuttall OBE and Mark Gearing were among those who advised and supported the Inquiry. The Ownership Dividend is the most significant report into the UK employee ownership sector since the Nuttall Review of Employee Ownership in 2012. A panel of leading UK industry bodies has found clear evidence that employee ownership can deliver outcomes that are significantly beneficial to employees, businesses and the wider economy – the "Ownership Dividend".

The findings mirror Fieldfisher's deep experience in advising the employee ownership community, a sector that continues to grow and raise its profile within the UK economy. Fieldfisher clients that have converted to the employee ownership business model have invariably found that their businesses have gone from strength to strength.
