European law firm Fieldfisher has been appointed as the principal provider of legal services to PhonepayPlus.
PhonepayPlus, the UK's independent regulator of premium rate telephone services, has selected Fieldfisher following a competitive tender process. Fieldfisher will advise on enforcement matters, policy development and initiatives, PhonepayPlus tribunals and where required litigation, regulatory compliance and general commercial law.
The Fieldfisher team will be led by Sarah Ellson, partner and head of the firm's Public and Regulatory group. Sarah was supported in the pitch by Nick Pimlott, an experienced telecoms lawyer and partner in the firm's Competition and EU Regulatory team and David Northfield, senior associate in the Public Regulatory group.
