Fieldfisher's Capital Markets Department acted as deal counsel on Groupe Berkem's IPO on the Euronext Growth® Paris market.
Thanks to this highly successful transaction and these new financial resources, Groupe Berkem, a leading player in plant-based chemistry whose mission is to accelerate the ecological transition of players in the everyday chemicals (cosmetics, food and beverages, construction, public hygiene, etc.), will have the necessary means to deploy its bio-sourced solutions in new markets and new regions. The company will also be able to stimulate its growth through targeted acquisitions.
As the offer was several times oversubscribed, the total amount of the IPO is €45.9 million (including €2.0 million of sales) after full exercise of the extension clause, which may be increased to €52.8 million (including €8.9 million of sales) if the over-allotment option is fully exercised. The IPO price was set at €9.30 per share, in the middle of the indicative price range. Following the issuance of the new shares, the market capitalization of Group Berkem is €164.5 million.
