Today European law firm Fieldfisher is pleased to welcome Stephen Moller to the firm as a partner in the Financial Markets & Products Group.  Stephen specialises in structured finance (including receivables financing, supply chain finance and securitisation) and joins the firm from K&L Gates.  This follows the recent hires of structured finance partners, Dougall Molson from Freshfields  and Richard Todd from Mayer Brown.

Stephen has an established practice in the alternative finance market and works with technology platforms to originate and acquire financial assets. FinTech is a developing practice for the firm and follows the recent hire of Director Marsili Hale who also has a focus on the FinTech sector.

Commenting on Stephen's appointment, Guy Usher, Head of the Derivatives and Structured Finance Group at Fieldfisher said, "I am delighted to announce another significant lateral hire in the Fieldfisher team so quickly.  Stephen's experience – particularly his expertise in alternative finance   - adds yet more depth and diversity to our offering.  Finance and Financial Services are a strategic  growth area for the firm.  Our significant investment in recent key hires not only reflects our dedication to the sector but also the growing client demands for our services in this area."

Stephen added, "The Financial Markets & Products Group at Fieldfisher is going from strength to strength.  Already established in derivatives, it is becoming a bigger player across the sector and in structured finance in particular.  I have known Dougall and Richard for some time  and I am looking forward to working with them and with the other finance partners. I think, together, we make a very compelling offering."
