Fieldfisher has advised HANSAINVEST Real Assets GmbH ("HANSAINVEST") on the legal aspects of a long-term strategic partnership with ENOVA Energiesysteme GmbH & Co. KG ("ENOVA") in the field of wind energy. The focus of the partnership is the acquisition of ongoing wind energy projects, as well as projects that are currently still in the approval/project planning phase.
ENOVA IPP - a newly founded company for the purpose of the strategic partnership - is structured as an independent power producer. Until the end of 2019, ENOVA IPP has set itself the target of acquiring 100 megawatts of capacity. In the meantime, four wind farms with a total capacity of 25 MW have already been acquired.
ENOVA IPP and the acquisition of the wind farms will be financed by mezzanine capital from companies of the SIGNAL-IDUNA Group advised by HANSAINVEST.
The Fieldfisher team was led by Daniel Marhewka (Corporate / Energy), a Munich-based partner who was supported by Duesseldorf Partner Dr. Patrick Halfpap MLE, LL.M.
