Call of interest for biocidal products consortia

Locations

Belgium

ARCHE is assessing interest in the setting-up of biocidal product(s) consortia.

Call of interest for:

  • Chlorinefor PT 2 and 5
  • The combination of permethrin & piperonyl butoxide for PT18
  • Peracetic acid generated in situ from TAED and sodium percarbonate for PT 2, 3 and 4

in biocidal products.

ARCHE is assessing interest in the setting-up of voluntary cooperation groups (consortia) in order to facilitate producers, distributors and formulators of biocidal products who are interested in placing on the market biocidal product(s).

The current call of interest focuses on biocidal products containing the above active substances and for which dossiers have to be submitted in the second half of 2018.

ARCHE, together with Fieldfisher for legal support, are already facilitating consortia in preparing biocidal product family dossiers containing sodium hypochlorite, permethrin and peracetic acid and is therefore in an ideal position to support companies in generating product dossiers on chlorine, permethrin/PBO and peracetic acid generated in situ from TAED and sodium percarbonate.

The process to achieve successful generation and submission of biocidal product dossiers is expected to take 24 – 30 months and therefore companies requiring registrations should take action now.

If your company is interested in joining a consortium involved in preparing one or more biocidal product family dossiers, then please activate the link below and complete the table(s) by 31 March 2016.
