Sharm el Sheikh bombing: compensation for victims

05/11/2007
The memorial service for the victims of the Sharm el Sheikh bombing, 20th September has yet again raised the issue of financial support for terrorist acts abroad. The government are now paying small sums, £3,000 to victims of terrorism abroad to cover their immediate needs. This does not provide for long term financial support for those most seriously injured and we have yet to see whether or not the government will alter their position.

Jill Greenfield, personal injury partner and representing many of those involved in terrorist bombings abroad will be speaking to Sky news and ITN on the subject.
