The Neurolegal Conference 2014 is set to take place this coming Friday with the emphasis on Rebuilding Lives Through Litigation.
We continue our countdown with a look at another of the speakers talking at this event. Mike Gomm is a Consultant in Disability & Technology and offers a comprehensive consultancy service to clients seeking technical solutions to the problems presented by disabling conditions. He regularly works for academic institutions, law firms (as an expert witness), case managers, the Department of Employment (Access to Work), companies and private individuals.
Mike's talk is on Access to and use of technology to maximise independence. In this talk Mike Gomm will demonstrate how a physically disabled individual can have a high level of control over technology and the benefits that will ensue.
The Neurolegal Conference takes place at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel on Friday 11th July and will examine the way litigation interplays with the actual rehabilitation needs on a day to day basis and the benefit that it can bring to victims of serious personal injury – making sure mistakes are not made by those putting rehabilitation packages in place and dealing with the issues that can arise in the court room at trial.
