Peter Williams head of our asbestos claims department attended a talk along with one of his clients Ann Syz at a commemoration service for victims of mesothelioma organised by the London Hazards Group and East London Mesothelioma Support (ELMS) at Stratford Town Hall. The talks were followed by a sponsored dove release. Partner Caroline Pinfold together with Associate Dushal Mehta also attended this event. Supporting the cause further, Partner Andrew Morgan attended an event organised by HASAG (Hampshire Asbestos Support & Awareness Group) at The Queens Hotel, Clarence Parade, Southsea, Portsmouth PO5 3LJ. There was a sponsored release of doves at 12 Noon followed by a public meeting. Fieldfisher sponsored a dove.
Furthermore Andrew Morgan spoke alongside Frank Burton QC (12 Kings Bench Walk) and Dr Charles Twort (respiratory Consultant, Guys Hospital) on the future of asbestos disease claims at APIL's Occupational Health Special Interest Group. The meeting began at 3pm at The Kingsway Hall Hotel, 66 Great Queen Street, London WC2B 5BX where a collection was held.
