Tour de France passes through London

After an exciting weekend of cycling which saw an estimate 2.5 million spectators line the route for the first two stages of the Tour de France up in Yorkshire, the Tour today makes its way from Cambridge to London, a distance of some 155 kilometres (or 96 miles in old money). Today's stage starts at 12.15pm in Cambridge and is scheduled to arrive on the Mall in London at around 15.45 depending on the pace set. Even more importantly it is scheduled to pass the Fieldfisher offices which border on Lower Thames Street at around 15.30.

Any rumours that we moved to the new office specifically to get a close up view of this years' Tour are hotly denied.

You can find out more about today's stage from the official Tour de France website.
