Peter Williams, partner and head of Asbestos Claims and his sister the newsreader Sian Williams and brother Dave completed the Macmillan Mighty Hike this weekend – 26 miles from Brighton to Eastbourne raising £5,000 in the process.
Peter says:
"I wanted to do this for a whole host of reasons. I see the fantastic work Macmillan does every day in my job acting for patients suffering from mesothelioma and witnessed it first hand when my Mum was cared for by MacMillan before she died from Bowel cancer in 2009. We walked in her memory back to our home town Eastbourne on what would have been her birthday weekend. It was tough going but we made it together in one piece. Hats off to Macmillan for the brilliant organisation of a fantastic event and a big thanks to all our sponsors!"
