Partner Jane Weakley and team complete the London Prudential Ride 100

01/08/2017
Jane Weakley, Partner within Fieldfisher's Personal Injury and Medical Negligence practice, has completed the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 along with her team of six, helping to raise over £3000 for the Bobath Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy.

The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 started at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and then followed a 100 mile route through London and Surrey's beautiful countryside. The route was made famous during the London 2012 Olympics, ending on The Mall in central London.

The Bobath Centre is a specialist cerebral palsy treatment and training centre, as well as a charity that supports children and families that are living with the condition. Jane specialises in the rights and interests of brain injured children, and the Bobath Centre is a charity she has known for several years, with several of her clients receiving treatment at the centre.

Jane said "It was great to take part in such an iconic event and at the same time raise some much needed funds for Bobath. I have seen Bobath's work first hand and the real difference it makes to improving the quality of children's lives. Specially trained therapists teach children and their families life-long techniques so the children can reach their potential."
