Number 1 in medical negligence for 3rd year running

Chambers & Partners have today released their annual appraisals of UK Law Firms. Field Fisher Waterhouse haonce again been rated in the top band for medical negligence and industrial disease, while the personal injury team also received glowing reviews. 

Chambers & Partners state that Fieldfisher's medical negligence team has a "formidable reputation" frequently undertaking 'the most complex claims in the practice area'. The team has recovered over £27 million in compensation for our clients in the fields of obstetric negligence, delayed diagnosis, surgical negligence and birth injury. Chambers praise the team for their conduct, which is noted as being "excellent: very personable and professional, experienced and compassionate", continuing that "client care has always been a priority".

The head of the medical negligence department, Paul McNeil, is again singled out as a "stellar individual" who is regarded as "one of the first lawyers you would go to for a complex maximum-severity clinical negligence claim, or would recommend to a family member." They state that Paul has an excellent relationship with his clients and is "compassionate, but at all times 110% professional".

Partner Sam Critchley is described as one of the "rising stars" in the sector with more than a decade of experience. Sam specialises in obstetric negligence, including Erb's Palsy and Cerebral Palsy, neurology, gynaecology and ophthalmology negligence. Medical Negligence Partner Edwina Rawson is noted as having a 'burgeoning reputation' while Senior Associate Mark Bowman has a reputation as a "very good" practitioner with a 'wide ranging' skill set.
