Partner and mesothelioma claims specialist Andrew Morgan is set to talk at the next Post Claims Club event at the London Stock Exchange on 5th September 2012. Andrew will be discussing the new Employers' Liability Insurance Bureau (ELIB) for victims of mesothelioma . The Post Claims Club is a forum for industry leaders to discuss and debate major issues facing the insurance claims sector. Andrew will be talking opposite a senior partner from a Defendant law firm, and is addressing an audience consisting of defendant solicitors and insurance claims handlers. Field Fisher Waterhouse believe the insurance sector must do more to resolve the injustices facing mesothelioma victims and their families when insurance policies cannot be traced.
Andrew Morgan commented: "This new development is very welcome but will leave many hundreds in the future without any compensation even though they have strong cases. This burden falls on the victims, their families and on the NHS instead of falling upon the insurers who received the employers' premiums many years ago. Welcome though this development is, there is more to be done."
