Caroline Pinfold, trustee of the East London Mesothelioma Support Group, attended the London Hazards Centre event to support Action Mesothelioma Day on 4th July.
The photo shows Vince Hagedorn who spoke about asbestos in schools, Rachel Thomas, lung cancer specialist nurse from Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital who spoke about her mesothelioma patient support group and Phil Lewis of Unison. They released white doves in memory of those who have died from mesothelioma. Other speakers included Dan Shears, GMB national health and safety organizer, and Tony O'Brien from the Construction Safety campaign. The meeting was chaired by Paul Street from the London Hazards Centre.
