I act for some of the most well-known companies and their leaders in relation to high-profile regulatory enforcement actions, sensitive cross border internal investigations and the management of risk, including through the implementation and evolution of corporate compliance programmes.

My sectoral experience spans energy and natural resources, financial services, retail and consumer, transport and infrastructure, telecoms and sport. I have advised on matters relating to over twenty jurisdictions and have on-the-ground experience in Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, North America and the Caribbean.
I have acted in high-value and politically significant international commercial arbitrations and as an expert witness on English law (including in particular the Bribery Act 2010).

In addition to my regulatory and commercial crime work, I am part of the Inclusiveness, Diversity and Culture team and lead the Fieldfisher network for underrepresented groups within the legal sector. I have a particular interest in the overlap between corporate culture, governance and risk and my unique legal, commercial and sectoral experience has led to instructions by organisations, including governing bodies, to conduct wide-ranging and sensitive reviews, examining issues stemming from and relating to organisational culture, communication and leadership.
I have acted as a mentor for the Social Mobility Foundation for many years and currently serve as a trustee of a charity that seeks to promote access and participation in sport, particularly for young women and underprivileged groups, both in the UK and overseas. I have served as a governor of an OFSTED ‘outstanding’ rated school and as a magistrate in my local community. I was previously elected to the Bar Council and currently sit on the advisory board of one of Europe’s largest contemporary art fairs. Prior to my career at the Bar I worked in Westminster for a former member of the Cabinet and was a founding Board Member of an organisation which seeks to improve ties between the UK and India. I have represented the University of Cambridge and the Bar of England & Wales at cricket.
