My main areas of practice
A particular focus of my more than 10 years of practice is advising (international) financial investors and strategists on private equity and venture capital mandates in connection with acquisitions, exits, minority interests and other investments. I also advise private individuals in connection with the sale of family businesses to investors or strategists.
Very often, the clients I advise are cross-border transactions. In the past, I have advised on transactions in the Technology (including e-commerce), Retail, Banking & Finance and Life Sciences & Healthcare sectors. I also regularly advise on transactions in traditional industries.
I advise our clients in German and English.
Recommendations
Among others, I was described as a "private equity expert" by JUVE and as a "private equity specialist" by Börsen-Zeitung in 11/2022.
Personal engagement
I am a member of the VGR - Gesellschaftsrechtliche Vereinigung - Wissenschaftliche Vereinigung für Unternehmens- und Gesellschaftsrecht e.V. (Association for Corporate Law).
My background
I studied at the University of Hamburg and at Bucerius Law School.
Prior to joining Fieldfisher, I worked for other leading international law firms from the US, UK and Germany.
