JAUSAS takes one more step in its plan to expand in Madrid with the integration of the GMQ abogados firm

JAUSAS has integrated into the firm GMQ Abogados, led by Rodrigo Martos and Andrés de la Quadra-Salcedo, therefore fulfilling the mission to expand and strengthen its presence in Madrid by incorporating a team of professionals that will fortify the commercial, M&A, restructuring and insolvency, litigation, taxation, employment, and administrative areas.

Specialising in companies, large estates and investors, ‘This addition reinforces the presence of JAUSAS in Madrid, as per the JAUSAS 2020 strategic plan,’ explains firm president and partner, Agustí Bou, who also stresses ‘the major synergies that both offices share,’ not only given the national and international profile of the client portfolio, but also considering the quality of their professionals and their approach to the provision of legal services. According to GMQ Abogados founding partner, Rodrigo Martos, ‘We are becoming part of a team that offers us the possibility to continue working under a criterion of professionalism, personalisation, and proximity to the client […] with the added bonus that being part of a prestigious team like JAUSAS gives us to be more competitive in every respect.’

The integration of GMQ Abogados to JAUSAS’ Madrid team took effect in January 2018.

Madrid: mission accomplished

JAUSAS’ integration of GMQ Abogados is part of the JAUSAS 2020 strategic plan announced by the firm in early 2017. This undertaking strengthens JAUSAS’ process of expansion in Madrid, which will continue throughout 2018. As JAUSAS’ new partner and director of the Madrid office, Rodrigo Martos, asserts, ‘This year, the JAUSAS office in Madrid wants to continue to grow, both in the number of professionals and in turnover, while focusing our efforts, as a matter of priority, on the taxation, employment, and public law.’

With the integration of GMQ Abogados, JAUSAS relocates its headquarters in Madrid to calle Alcalá, 85, 6ª planta.
