Litigation and Dispute Resolution

The department advises and represents clients in all aspects of commercial litigation, insurance, insolvency, procurement, pensions, judicial review, data breach, professional negligence and employment related disputes. Our commercial clients include both domestic and international entities that operate in the insurance, IT, aviation, retail, banking, financial and regulatory sectors.

The Litigation and Dispute Resolution department represents clients across all Court jurisdictions, with particular emphasis on High Court and Court of Appeal litigation. We are active supporters of the use of mediation as a method of resolving disputes and a number of our partners are CEDR accredited mediators.

Health and safety is a vital issue for all organisations, regardless of sector. We appreciate the importance of understanding, measuring and mitigating your health and safety risks.  We have significant experience in advising clients on health and safety risks, and in defending organisations & executives in respect of Health and Safety Authority inspections and prosecutions. We advise and represent clients in respect of coroner inquests and any related civil proceedings that follow. We also develop bespoke training programmes for selected clients to help senior managers understand their particular risk exposures and to plan for specific catastrophic events.
