I advise clients across a variety of industry sectors including software, e-commerce, financial services, video gaming and media. My experience includes advising clients on commercial contracts including SaaS agreements, IT and business outsourcing, software licensing agreements, intellectual property licensing and assignments, and video game development agreements. I also provide advice to clients on the ever-changing area of data protection and regulation, most recently in the software and digital media sectors on matters such as international data transfers and data retention. I have a particular interest in areas such as sports, video gaming, AI, cryptocurrency and digital art.
As part of my trainee seat in the department, I went on secondment to a global data science company where I worked closely with the international legal team on both technology and privacy-related matters. I also completed seats in the firm's Real Estate Finance, Intellectual Property & Technology Protection and Enforcement, and Derivatives & Structured Finance teams.
I am also extremely passionate about Fieldfisher's diversity and inclusion initiatives, where I assist our Graduate Recruitment team in hosting events and question & answer panels for prospective trainees/students of diverse backgrounds. In my spare time I enjoy basketball, football, stand-up comedy, music and history.
