I pride myself on being a versatile and modern commercial lawyer with genuine international perspective and experience.
I trained and qualified at a Magic Circle law firm and subsequently spent time working in Australia for a leading technology focussed firm. I have spent time working in-house as part of secondments to GSK and Macquarie Bank.
My experience means that I have been fortunate to support organisations across the full corporate spectrum (both in the UK and internationally) with some of their most business-critical mandates – from "bet the farm" M&A activity to high-stakes disputes, and from forming strategic commercial relationships to managing complex disentanglements.
I value the breadth of my experience for the perspective that I'm able to bring to bear in supporting my clients to maximise on opportunities and guard against risk.
Recent examples of my work have included:
- Assisting a leading UK fashion brand with the outsourcing of their entire IT estate
- Supporting a retail bank with their once-in-a generation core-banking platform digital transformation programme
- Advising numerous clients globally on their obligations under novel digital technology regulations, including DORA, NIS 2, the Data Act and the Digital Services Act (amongst others)
- Helping a US technology provider to establish a franchise business model in the UK alongside a leading telecommunications operator
- Advising a listed multi-national retailer on its complex IT disentanglement
Outside of the office, I enjoy playing tennis, cricket and running around after my two daughters.
