I have over 25 years' experience in helping employers and scheme trustees navigate complex pension issues over the whole lifecycle of a scheme, from set up to buy out, including restructurings, scheme mergers, corporate transactions, section 75 debt risks, scheme funding structures and PPF assessment periods.
Where court proceedings become necessary, I have extensive experience in managing adversarial litigation and applications for directions and rectification of scheme rules, including a strong reputation for advising representative beneficiaries. Many of my cases have involved complex issues or novel points of law and consequently have been cited in the leading law reports.
