Professional background
I primarily assist clients in protecting and exploiting their brands both in domestic and international markets through third party relationships such as franchising, licensing, manufacturing and distribution.
I also have experience in providing clients with advice on advertising and consumer laws and regulations, including in respect of promotional activity and engaging influencers.
I work with a variety of different clients from large global corporations to start-ups in a wide range of sectors including fashion and retail, food and beverage and education. I spent just under a year on secondment with a global coffee chain and this experience gave me a unique insight into how businesses manage their franchise relationships, both commercially and legally.
