I was called to the Bar, and first worked in personal injury law as a barristers' assistant, where I also carried out research for the 5th edition of Expert Evidence: Law and Practice, before joining Fieldfisher's Serious Injury Team in 2019. I act exclusively for clients who have suffered complex, and often life-changing injuries.  I am experienced in assisting clients who have suffered brain injuryamputation, serious orthopaedic injury and fatal injury following accidents on the roadaccidents at work and terror attacks. I also represent those who have become seriously ill after negligent exposure to the bacteria EColi 0157, and have assisted children who suffered Haemolytic Uraemic Syndrome (HUS) as a result.

I am passionate about women's rights, and work with Jill Greenfield representing victims of sexual assault. These are generally against high net worth defendants in the UK, but I have also assisted victims of Harvey Weinstein and Jeffrey Epstein to gain compensation through victims' compensation funds in the US.

I understand the importance of early, effective and consistent rehabilitation as well as financial support for our clients and their families.  It is well-known that early and high quality intervention is hugely important in maximising long-term recovery.  I engage with defendant insurance companies as soon as possible after instruction, and work hard to get the necessary rehabilitation in place, funded by the insurer, at the earliest opportunity.  I regularly secure interim payments for my clients who are unable to work as a result of their injuries, as I understand that they and their families are going through one of the worst experiences of their lives, and they do not need the added stress of financial worry.

I work out of Fieldfisher's London office, and when working from home, I am based in South East London.   Wherever possible, I meet my clients face-to-face at an early stage, whether that is at our offices, at hospital, or at their home.  I assist clients in the UK, as well as those based abroad who have sustained injury in the UK.

An important part of my job is campaigning for better safety on our roads.  I was involved in drafting submissions to the Government Select Committee on smart motorways, and I have presented at the National Road Safety Conference.  I have a special interest in road safety for horses, riders and handlers.  I grew up around horses, and I know only too well how dangerous our roads can be to equestrians.  I have teamed up with the British Horse Society to create a podcast outlining the risks to, and responsibilities of, both equestrians and other road users when horses are on our roads.

I am a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
