Pro bono and community activities
Our Just Purpose initiatives are built around people and progress. Our sector-leading pro bono and community projects find purpose in representing individuals experiencing inequity, building the capacity of charitable organisations, and driving action. Anchored in the needs of our stakeholders across the Fieldfisher network, Just Purpose pushes boundaries and adapts to evolving communities by leveraging our people and insights to build a more just and equitable society.
Led by a global network of Just Purpose leaders, our community and pro bono programmes revolve around four key strategic pillars:
- Spearheading systemic change with disabled people;
- Protecting refugee and asylum seeker rights;
- Promoting the rights of children and young people; and
- Strengthening civil society organisations.
Sustainability
The climate emergency requires a whole firm response. Our environmental sustainability mission is:
- To set a net zero target by 2024;
- To ensure accuracy and transparency in our carbon reporting;
- To reduce the firm's carbon footprint across scopes 1, 2 and 3 emissions;
- To upskill employees on environmental practices and behaviours; and
- To bolster sustainable development by working with organisations with environmental objectives.
