Professional background

I have represented clients in the Competition Appeal Tribunal, High Court, Court of Appeal, Supreme Court, Privy Council and many other specialist courts and tribunals including, in some cases, as a Solicitor-Advocate with full rights of audience.

Representative matters include:

  • Acting for Whistl UK Limited in its abuse of dominance claim against Royal Mail seeking over £600m in damages;

  • Acting for Euronet, one of the world’s largest independent deployers of ATMs, in a standalone competition claim against Visa and Mastercard seeking hundreds of millions of dollars in damages;

  • Acting for 138 local authorities in pursuing over £100m in damages caused by the trucks cartel.

I also have over 20 years of experience advising on public law and regulatory issues, including acting for public bodies as well as commercial clients. This includes experience in telecoms, gas, water, electricity, healthcare and transport.

I am ranked Band 3 by Chambers and Partners 2025 for 'Competition Law: Private Enforcement: Claimant'.

Legislative reform to reverse PACCAR ruling is suggested, but no timeline is set

19.12.2025
