Professional background

I have a wealth of experience in advising clients across numerous sectors on both contentious and non-contentious matters spanning all aspects of competition law, including EU and UK merger control, abuse of dominance, joint ventures/co-operation agreements, distribution and licensing agreements, cartels, state aid/subsidy control.

I also provide strategic procurement law advice for public bodies, including many central government departments, utilities and major NDPBs and is expert at designing, preparing and advising on legally-compliant procurement processes. I also advise bidders on tendering strategies in public procurement and on litigation against award decisions.

I am ranked as a leading individual in the Public Procurement section of the Chambers & Partners legal directory in which describes me as  "brilliant" and "very good and strategic".

On 12 March 2026, the UK government published its response to a July 2025 consultation regarding the National Security and Investment Act 2021 (Notifiable Acquisition) (Specification of Qualifying Entities) Regulations 2021/1263 (the "NARs" ). The NARs set out the scope of sectors for which mandatory notifications must be made under the UK's National Security and Investment Act 2021 ("NSIA ").
