Professional background

With over 30 years' experience in the field of business law with a particular specialization in contracts and corporate law (M&A, restructuring, and equity transactions) and litigation relating to these transactions (company law, contract law and criminal business law), private equity, venture capital, and investments, Philippe assists both French and foreign companies and funds.

His team is ranked in the legal directories. Legal 500 Paris said: 'This efficient and high performance M&A team wins approval with its human approach. The team is composed of dealmakers who perfectly know how to position themselves and take up the initiative during negotiations'.

He has a strong university background with a Master's degrees in Business Law and Tax Law from the University of Paris II - Assas. He was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1989.

Philippe worked previously for Gide Loyrette Nouel and then with Dubarry Le Douarin Veil before joining Fieldfisher in 2007.

His native language is French and he is fluent in English and Spanish.
