I lead a team which manages portfolios of cases for a number of banks, insolvency practitioners and financial service providers. Together with my team we advise on all disputes arising out of the relationship between the lender and its customers, always keeping the client’s reputation in focus.

I am an experienced advocate, regularly appearing before the Circuit Court, High Court, Commercial Court and Court of Appeal.  My litigation experience is greatly enhanced by having worked for several years prior to qualifying as a solicitor in one of Ireland’s leading Court agency firms.

I have significant experience in financial services disputes including high value recoveries, fraud, priority of claims, and a range of banking related litigation, and implementing innovative strategies for lenders where possible.

I act on behalf of a number of fixed charge receivers, from initially validating their appointment through to advising on disputes with borrowers and third party occupiers.  I also regularly act on behalf of insolvency office holders seeking injunctive relief to prevent interference with the functions of their office.

My practice includes professional negligence actions across a range of professional advisers. In particular, I act on behalf of pillar banks prosecuting claims for breach of undertaking and negligence against solicitors.

I am a member of the firm’s Risk Management Committee and we are responsible for ensuring the firm is up to date and compliant with risk policies and best practice, focusing most recently on cyber risk.

I recently lectured in the Law Society of Ireland's Diploma on Advocacy course.
