My main areas of practice
I have many years of experience in digital law, particularly in the regulation of Artificial Intelligence and data protection law, and have in-depth knowledge of data protection and AI regulatory issues in the development and use of artificial intelligence.

My advisory work primarily focuses on technology-driven companies.

My background
I studied law at the University of Hamburg and KU Leuven in Belgium. I then worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Public Law, Media and Telecommunications Law under Professor Dr Hans-Heinrich Trute, where I also completed my doctoral thesis on data protection frameworks for Artificial Intelligence in radiology.

I completed my legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg, with placements at the European Commission (DG CNECT, Unit A2 Artificial Intelligence, Brussels), the Data Protection Officer of Charité University Hospital in Berlin, and a leading European AI startup.
