I am advising on a variety of transactional areas, including M&A, joint ventures, international group reorganisations, as well as on equity and capital markets and general corporate matters. I acted for clients in a number of cross-border corporate and corporate finance transactions in the oil & gas sector and have extensive experience in the project management of international acquisitions.

I am a member of the firm's CIS Group and have a particular expertise advising Russian-speaking clients on corporate and commercial matters.

My recent projects include acting for JSC KazMunaiGas Exploration Production in respect of US$1.95 billion tender offer launched by the company for its GDRs and shares valued at US$5.6bn and delisting from the Official List of the London Stock Exchange and the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange. Prior to the delisting, I advised the company on various compliance matters related to its listing on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange. I also advised JSC KazMunaiGas Exploration Production on an acquisition of 49% interest in JSC Karpovskiy Severniy from MOL Group. I acted for KMG Kashagan B.V. in connection with a US$1bn oil prepayment facility underwritten by Vitol S.A. in respect of crude oil exported from the Kashagan oil field and subsequent extensions of the facility up to an amount of US$2.2bn.

Most recently, I advised on the agreement between JSC National Company KazMunayGas and PJSC Lukoil that establishes the main principles of creation of a joint venture between the two major oil & gas companies for the development of shallow water oil fields in the Caspian Sea in Kazakhstan with the approximate deal value of US$5bn.

I joined Fieldfisher in 2015 after having been awarded an LL.M. degree with Merit from Queen Mary, University of London and having worked at one of the international law firms in the City of London.
