My main areas of practice
With over 15 years of experience, I advise national and international clients from the digital economy on AI systems, SaaS and cloud solutions and smart devices, among other things. I also advise platform providers and media companies on Media and Copyright Law.
My work includes strategic advice on new business models as well as contract negotiation and litigation.
I advise our clients in German and English.
Personal engagement
I am a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR).
I am also a lecturer in Media Law at the Tide Academy and am involved in the Federal Association of the Digital Economy (BVDW) in the areas of immersive experiences and AI.
Recommendations
In the Handelsblatt's "Best Lawyers" ranking 2024, I am listed as one of the leading lawyers in the field of "media and copyright law".
Education
I studied law and musicology at the University of Hamburg and then completed a Master's degree (LL.M.) at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) on a DAAD scholarship. The University of Hamburg awarded me a doctorate for my dissertation on a copyright topic.
Before joining Fieldfisher, I worked for several years as a lawyer in well-known international commercial law firms in Hamburg.
