This has been an exciting year for us in respect of rankings. We have, once again, been ranked by Legal 500 as a Tier 1 firm in both Media & Entertainment and Media Finance, with partners Tim Johnson and Barry Smith being named Leading Individuals and a number of other members of the team praised for their work, and we are proud to be the only firm to be top ranked for all four of the following key TMT categories: Brand Management, Data Protection, Media and Entertainment and Media Finance. As well as our group being recognised by the legal directories as a whole, a number of individuals in our group were also recognised for their work: partners Tim Johnson and David Naylor were both listed in the International Who’s Who of Telecom and Media Lawyers, whilst Christine Phillips, our relationship partner for Viacom MTV and Getty Images, was named one of The Lawyer’s “Hot 100”. Senior Associate Sonal Patel continued to be recognised as Associate to Watch by Chambers.

We continue to represent a variety of well-known clients in the media and entertainment sector including the BBC and BBC Worldwide, Warner Bros, Exclusive, Viacom, Getty Images, Ingenious, Netflix and Lions Gate as well as a host of independent producers and financiers. We have recently been appointed to the panels of Vodafone and Amazon.
