Fieldfisher competition and regulatory director Jessica Gardner was "Highly Commended" in the Lawyer of the Year Category at the Modern Law Awards (MLA) 2022 in London on 7 April.
Jessica, who is based in Fieldfisher's London office, was recognised for her competition work with leading national and international brands and for growing revenue from a number of key clients, including a major coffee shop chain.
The Lawyer of the Year award recognises lawyers who have made a major contribution to the success of their practice for business in the last year as evidenced by strong management and leadership.
Jessica's success was demonstrated by the impressive financial performance of Fieldfisher's highly-regarded UK competition practice and its enhanced market profile, thanks to her efforts to strengthen relationships with clients and going above and beyond to add value.
In March, Jess was ranked as of one of Law.com's Rising Stars of 2022, in a list of the UK's 25 Best Up and Coming Female Lawyers under 40.
Fieldfisher was also shortlisted for the MLA's Best Use of Technology award for its Bryter tax tools, developed by a team led by tax disputes director Matthew Sharp.
