24/04/2023
Fieldfisher is pleased to announce the promotion of Lucile Meriguet to partner in the Restructuring/Commercial Litigation department.

Fieldfisher France strengthens its Restructuring/Commercial Litigation practice headed by Bruno Paccioni and expands its partnership with the co-optation of Lucile Meriguet.

Lucile Meriguet has been working in this department for several years on pre-litigation and civil and commercial litigation cases, litigation related to distressed LBO transactions, corporate law disputes (post-acquisition of companies, shareholders' disputes, disputes between shareholders and managers, managers' liability), as well as insolvency proceedings and amicable settlement of companies' difficulties (conciliation and ad hoc mandate). She has also experience in litigation relating to stock market fraud and commercial contracts.

Prior to joining Fieldfisher in 2014, Lucile Meriguet worked for four years in the Restructuring/Commercial Litigation departments of Altana and trained with Bredin Prat, Skadden & Arps and Farthouat Asselineau et AssociƩs law firms.

Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2011, she holds a specialised Master's degree in Finance from the ESCP-EAP and a Master's degree in Business and Tax Law from the University of Paris II.

This appointment is a recognition of Lucile's leading technical expertise and her strong commitment to her clients.

"I congratulate Lucile on her co-optation, which acknowledges a remarkable career in our department. This promotion is a testament to the dynamism of our firm, which celebrated its 15th anniversary in Paris a few months ago, and to our desire to strengthen our positioning and our capabilities in restructuring and commercial litigation.

Lucile's appointment also illustrates our ability to pass on our know-how to the younger generation and our desire to offer them sustainable career opportunities, thereby reinforcing the stability and cohesion of our teams", said Bruno Paccioni, Managing Partner of the Paris office and Head of the Restructuring and Insolvency practice.

This promotion takes effect on 1 May 2023 and brings the number of partners in Fieldfisher France to 22 for a total of 70 lawyers.
