Fieldfisher advises Israeli light control material science company Gauzy Ltd. on site security

Gauzy is based in Tel Aviv and has recently opened a new and highly anticipated 11,000 sqm production facility near Stuttgart. The new facility will produce the SPD (suspended particle device) smart light control film patented by Research Frontiers for the entire SPD smart glass industry. Through this technology, special nanoparticles are integrated into glass, polycarbonate, or other transparent materials. With electricity, transparent materials embedded with SPD can change light transmission, resulting in on demand and customized shading or dimming. This innovation revolutionizes mobility and smart cities and contributes to more intelligent lighting and solar control solutions in the automotive, architectural, aerospace, rail and marine sectors.
