Lahav L.R. Real Estate, an investment company listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, and its investment partner, B.G.M. Ltd., part of the Israeli Manzur Group, have significantly expanded their portfolio by acquiring a retail portfolio and two individual properties. The buyer was successfully advised by a Fieldfisher Real Estate team led by partner Philipp Stricharz.
The portfolio expansion of Lahav L.R. Real Estate (Lahav) and B.G.M. Ltd. comprises a total of 15 properties with well-known tenants from the hardware store, food, drugstore and textiles sectors. It represents a further significant step in the investment company's growth strategy.
The individual properties are a retail park in Sennfeld (Bavaria) and a large-scale grocery store and hardware store with a petrol station in Wittenberge (Brandenburg). Together, these two properties have a total land area of around 40,000 m² and lettable space of around 11,000 m².
From the retail portfolio with a total of 13 properties, nine properties were initially transferred to an indirect subsidiary of Lahav in three first tranches. These include several hardware stores and specialist retail centers with a total rental space of around 41,000 m² in nine different cities in Bavaria, North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony and Rhineland-Palatinate.
Heinsberg-based DRIA GmbH, which handled the transactions for Lahav and has represented the investment company nationwide as an asset manager for many years, is responsible for the asset management of all the properties acquired.
Lahav has been active on the German real estate market since 2012 and has a steadily growing portfolio that currently consists of almost 100 retail properties, among other things. The investment company's focus is on high-yield local retail properties. In Israel, Lahav is a listed company (TASE:LAHAV) specializing in renewable energies and invests extensively in real estate with photovoltaic systems and project developments in the green energy sector.
Fieldfisher's Real Estate team advises Lahav as a long-standing client on transactions, asset management and construction law issues.
