AI systems risk assessments: leveraging GDPR compliance efforts for EU AI Act compliance purposes. We will consider what risk assessments are required under the EU AI Act and whether they overlap with GDPR DPIAs. In particular, we will look at the circumstances in which fundamental rights impact assessments need to be carried out and what they entail.
