I advise both private market actors (energy suppliers, intermediaries, consumers, etc.) and various regulators and public authorities at the national and international levels with regard to their energy, climate change and ESG issues.

In particular, I have an in-depth expertise in assisting clients on legal issues ranging from renewable energy projects (wind, solar, storage, biogas, etc.), to energy efficiency of business processes and drafting and implementing energy legislation, regulation and standards. Having been involved in different court and alternative dispute resolution proceedings, I also focus particularly on energy and climate change dispute resolution.

I wrote a PhD on climate change litigation and human rights, am a regular speaker and am also a guest lecturer in the 'International law and sustainable development' masters course at Ghent University.

I am a native Dutch speaker, and I am fluent in French and English.
