Martin McElroy

In my role as a Senior Data Protection Adviser, I support companies across a range of sectors (including energy, insurance, online retail and business process services) in developing practical GDPR-ready processes including accountability, auditing, privacy-by-design, data subject rights, and data mapping.  I work closely with a number of international clients, providing advice on global solutions for their privacy, security, and information governance issues. I am also Fieldfisher's Data Protection Officer.

I have over 12 years' experience working across a range of senior information governance and compliance roles for a number of FTSE 100 and 250 organisations. I previously headed a number of teams responsible for information governance policies and procedures, eDiscovery, security, and data privacy. I have also been a major contributor to achieving and maintaining ISO270001 accreditation in previous roles.
