Professional background
Able to advise across the broad spectrum of data, I have extensive experience in managing multijurisdictional data breaches; advising global clients on their data protection compliance and strategy; dealing with voluminous data subject access requests and complex regulatory investigations.
In 2019 – 20 I spent nine months on secondment with the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK data protection regulator, heavily contributing to their Accountability Framework. Besides my expertise in data protection across the board, I have developed a specialism in children's data and online safety, contributing the chapter on Children's Data in the UK and EU in the IAPP Book Children's Privacy and Safety.
I am a regular contributor to articles published by Fieldfisher besides specific data and other external publications. I have co-written several practice notes on areas of data protection for LexisPSL.
Beyond the world of data protection, I enjoy watching and playing tennis, Lego and the arts.
