Marguerite specializes in new technologies and digital law (IT contracts & Personal Data Protection), with a particular focus on Digital Health.

Her practice covers IT contracts, data protection, and healthcare law.

In the healthcare sector, Marguerite advises a wide range of international stakeholders: SaaS providers, medtechs, biotechs, medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers, hospital groups, insurance companies and mutuals, learned societies, and startups.

She provides strategic support throughout the entire product and service lifecycle, particularly in:

  • Data protection (GDPR) and sector-specific requirements applicable to digital health services

  • Cybersecurity

  • Secondary use/re-use of health data, including Health Data Warehouses (HDW)

  • Artificial intelligence (AI)

  • SaaS / IT contracts: drafting & negotiation

  • Platforms and marketplaces

  • Telemedicine

  • Feasibility and regulatory compliance.

She acts as Data Protection Officer (DPO) for several players in the healthcare and industrial sectors.

After several years of practice in a law firm within a team dedicated to the healthcare industries, Marguerite joined the legal department of Orange, where she oversaw the Group’s healthcare activities, before moving to Alain Bensoussan Lexing, where she created and led the Digital Health department for 10 years.

Marguerite is ranked among the leading practitioners in Digital and Health. She is the author of numerous publications, speaks regularly at conferences, and teaches in the Master 2 program in Artificial Intelligence and Digital Health at Paris VIII University, as well as at the Institute for Smart Health (INeS).

She holds a Master II in Medical Sciences Law from Paris V University and a Master I in Private Law from Paris Panthéon-Assas University.

Marguerite was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2007.

She speaks French and English.
