My main areas of practice
I advise on German, European and international merger control proceedings, antitrust transaction support, antitrust fine and cartel damages proceedings, the drafting of leniency applications, compliance issues and investment control.

I advise our clients in German and English.

My background
I studied at the University of Osnabrück, where I specialised in Antitrust Law. Following my studies, I worked as a Research Assistant in a medium-sized law firm in Dusseldorf.

During my legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne, I worked for the Federal Foreign Office, Fieldfisher and a Bundesliga football club.

On 13 April 2026, the European Commission (Commission ) announced that it had carried out unannounced antitrust inspections at a company active in the chocolate and confectionery sector in two Member States. Ferrero (manufacturer of Nutella, Kinder and Ferrero Rocher) has since confirmed that it was affected by the inspections.
