Before joining Fieldfisher, I practiced competition law at the leading German boutique SBR Schuster Berger Bahr Ahrens in Dusseldorf. From 2006 to 2011, I worked as a competition lawyer for Hogan Lovells in Dusseldorf. Before, I was trained at the competition law practice group of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Dusseldorf and Lovells in Dusseldorf and London.

My practice area covers German and EU competition law. My experience covers primarily cartel investigations of the European Commission as well as the German Bundeskartellamt, leniency applications and dawn raid and compliance trainings.

I further advise clients on abuse of dominance cases, private cartel damage claims, German and EC merger control and on vertical aspects such as on competition law implications of distribution agreements. I also provide competition law guidance for horizontal cooperations such as R&D and licensing agreements and for competition law questions in relation to the use of IP rights.

I lecture competition law at the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt and am a member of the German Association of Competition Law and of the German-British Association of Lawyers.

I advise my clients in German and English.
