My main areas of practice
I advise our clients on all issues of German and European Antitrust Law. This includes, in particular, advising on and conducting antitrust damages actions, merger control notifications to the German Federal Cartel Office and the European Commission as well as advising companies on compliance issues. In addition, assisting clients in cartel fine and abuse proceedings before national and EU authorities and courts is an essential part of my work. I regularly advise on distribution antitrust issues in connection with research and development agreements as well as licensing agreements.
I advise our clients in German and English.
I am recommended as an expert in the field of Antitrust Law by, among others, Kanzleimonitor and Handelsblatt in the category of best lawyers in the field of Antitrust Law.
I wrote my doctoral thesis on the topic of "Cartel fines against parent companies of parity joint ventures". The doctoral thesis was published in 2016 in the FIW publication series by Carl-Heymanns Verlag.
I studied at the University of Augsburg.
Before joining Fieldfisher, I was a lawyer in the antitrust teams of two commercial law firms in Dusseldorf and in Stuttgart and previously worked as a stagiaire at the European Commission, Directorate General for Competition, and at the Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie e.V. (BDI) in the Competition Department in Brussels.
